Gonzalo "Chalo" Echenique (born 27 April 1990, Rosario) is an Argentine/Spanish male water polo player, playing at the wing position.
He began playing water polo at Gimnasia y Esgrima Rosario (GER) when he was 12 after practicing swimming.
He competed for the Argentina men's national water polo team at the 2011 Pan American Games. After 2012 he started playing for the Spain men's national water polo team and competed at the 2016 Men's European Water Polo Championship.[1]
He was a key player at Spain's Barceloneta helping this club win the 2013-2014 LEN Champions League.
