Goh Jin Wei (born 30 January 2000) is a female badminton player from Malaysia.[1][2]

Career

She won the gold for the World Junior Championships held in Lima, Peru in 2015.[3] For the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she was about to be chosen but Badminton Association of Malaysia technical director Morten Frost chose Tee Jing Yi instead at the Olympic Qualification meeting for Malay players because of her Olympic experience at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In 2016, she reach the final of Indonesian Grand Prix Gold after defeating Thai player, Nitchaon Jindapol in straight games. However, she lost in the final to another Thai player, Busanan Ongbumrungpan.

Personal life

Her idols are Ratchanok Intanon, Akane Yamaguchi, and Nozomi Okuhara.
