Global Britain is a Eurosceptic organisation that has worked since 1997 to promote the concept that the UK would be better off outside of the European Union.

In June 2016 the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union, the formal process is expected to commence in March 2017.

Northern Ireland, Scotland and London did not vote to leave the EU, but the aggregate population of the entire United Kingdom won by with 52% opting to leave.

It is claimed that immigration policy was a key element to the decsion to leave.

History

Global Britain was formed in 1997 by The Lord Pearson of Rannoch, Lord Stoddart of Swindon and Lord Harris of High Cross.^[1]
