Glenwood, Queensland
Glenwood is a town in Queensland, Australia, located about halfway between Gympie and Maryborough on the Bruce Highway. It was once part of the Shire of Tiaro but is now included in the Fraser Coast Region. In the 2011 census the town had a population of 1259.[2]
A primary state school was established in the town in 1918.[2]
It is a small town except on the third weekend in August when they hold their Swap Meet which is run by volunteers at the Glenwood Hall. The Glenwood Progress Association run many events throughout the year at the Glenwood Hall.
