Gita Records is an independent record label started in 2012.
The first major release was an album titled Touched by the Sun by composer/producer Todd Boston, co-produced with Windham Hill Records founder, producer and guitarist, Will Ackerman featuring Tony Levin (Grammy-nominated bassist, co-operating with Peter Gabriel, King Crimson), Michael Manring (Grammy-nominated fretless bassist, Michael Hedges, Windham Hill), Charlie Bisharat (Grammy-winning violinist, Yanni), Eugene Friesen (Grammy-winning cellist, Paul Winter Consort), Jeff Haynes (Grammy-winning percussionist, Pat Metheny Group), Snatam Kaur (vocalist, Spirit Voyage Records), Ramesh Kannan (percussion, tabla, Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Snatam Kaur).
