Ghodasgaon is a village in Shirpur Taluka of Dhule district, Maharashtra. It is located on bank of Aner river which is sub-river of Tapi river india.Ghodasgaon is 70 km from the city of Dhule. Majority of the population consisting of Farmers with banana as the major product.

About
Ghodasgaon is village situated at the bank of Aner River, which sub-river of Tapi. Majority of the population consisting of Farmers and Gujar(i.e Gurjar-Hindu) samaj people. Banana farms and Bhavani Devi(Goddess Bhavani) temple are the must visit places. Panchayat elections of Ghodasgaon mostly resulted unopposed/unchallenged.
It is small village populated with 1200. The main occupation of the villagers is farming. Banana is the major fruit planted in this village. Then its followed by papaya. Villagers used to plant cotton as well as cereals also.The youth is moving fast towards the education. Many of them hold the bachelors in Science, in Arts, in Commerce. Rare of them had the Masters in Computer Application(MCA), Engineering(BE) holds a job in good MNCs. Even in small populated village, the young generation has eagerness towards the medical Science. They hold the Bachelors in Ayurveda and Medicine(BAMS), Masters of Doctorate(MD). least but not the last one of them holds MBBS,MS and MCh in Plastic Surgery.
