Ghatail (Bengali: ঘাটাইল) is a town of Ghatail Upazila, Tangail, Bangladesh. The town is situated 33 km north of Tangail city and 114 km northwest of Dhaka city, the capital of Bangladesh.
Demographics
According to Population Census 2011 performed by Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, The total population of Ghatail town is 35245.There are 7668 households in total.[1]
Education
The literacy rate of Ghatail town is 72.1% (Male-77.6%, Female-65.1%).[2]
