Ghassan Gedeon-Achi
Ghassan Gedeon-Achi (born July 28, 1993) is an alpine skier from Lebanon, who now competes for Canada. [1] He competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics. He raced in the Giant Slalom and Slalom. Ghassan was not ranked in both competitions (disqualified DSQ or did not finish DNF) [2] Ghassan currently attends Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont.
Sometime after the Olympics Achi switched allegiance to Canada.[3]
Ghassan or "G" (yes just the letter) is currently a Super-Senior Feb at Middlebury College. As noted above his birth year is 1993 making him a full 5 years older than the oldest Freshman, and for that reason (he's super old) he no longer participates on the ski team. G is currently in the process of transitioning from the sport of skiing to Quidditch. He's found swapping skis for a broom has been tougher than expected, but he's been really excited about having something between his legs. When he's not dodging bludgers on the Quidditch field, G can be found reading fantasy novels in the library in between giving out massages to girls he doesn't know. He's also an avid player of paddle pong, and after four years of experience he is currently ranked 12th (out of 9) on the mens team, but nonetheless made huge improvements to his game. If you happen to be driving down Weybridge street early on a Sunday morning (obviously before Quidditch practice) you are likely to find G out outside at White Porch shining his shoes rain or shine. That's just another one of his strange addictions, the last one he admitted in confidence was an unreasonable love for fountain pens.
