Georgios Sarris (Greek: Γιώργος Σαρρής) (born 8 September 1989 in Heraklion) is a Greek footballer. He currently plays for Scottish club Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership.
Club career
Sarris began his career at Ergotelis. He made two league appearances in his first season[1] and one appearance in the 2009–10 season.[2] From the 2010–11 season onwards he played more often for the club, making eight appearances in the league[3] and one in the cup.[4]
On 1 July 2014, Sarris signed for AEK in the Football League,[5] helping the club to win the title. On 31 August 2015 he signed a one-year contract with Kayseri Erciyesspor for an undisclosed fee.[6]
On 23 July 2016, Sarris signed a two-year contract with Scottish Premiership club Hamilton Academical on a Bosman free deal.[7][8] He made his debut for the club in a 1–1 away draw against Rangers.
