Gaku Sano (佐野 岳 Sano Gaku, born April 3, 1992) is a Japanese actor, best known for his role as Kouta Kazuraba, the main character of the Kamen Rider series Kamen Rider Gaim. He was the winner in the Junon Super Boy Contest 2011.

Biography

From an early age, Sano was a recommended applicant to the Junon Super Boy Contest.[2] In November 2011 as a college student, he was awarded the Grand Prix from among 13,228 applicants in the same contest.[3][4]

In February 2012, when he began full-fledged entertainment activities,[2] Sano's actor debut on the stage, Sakura.[5] He appeared in TV dramas and variety shows. From the time Junon Super Boy Contest is to appeal the goodness of his motor nerve,[2][6] Sano appeared in the planning to compete the athletic ability, such as Geinō-kai tokugi-ō kettei-sen Teppen and All-Star Thanksgiving. In a November 2012 broadcast of Kyūkyoku no otoko wa dareda? Saikyō Sports danshi chōjō kessen, he became the overall victory.[7] Although his debut as an "active college student",[2][8] Sano was dropped out of the university.[5]

In 2013, Sano starred in Mata, kanarazu aou his first main role and film debut.[6] In the same year he starred in Kamen Rider Gaim, which is Sano's first main role in a TV drama.[7][9]
