Gaibandha (Bengali: গাইবান্ধা) is a town in northern Bangladesh. It is a centre of commerce and trade of the Gaibandha District and is located under the Rangpur Division. The area of the town is approximately 10.54 square kilometres.

Shah Sultan Gazi's Mosque

It is situated in 'Doriapur'.A Muslim saint from Calcutta, 'Sayed Wazed Ali' recovered this mosque from the debris left from it which was in bengali year 1308.From a stone found in it, archaeologists discovered the mosque was established in bengali year 1011

Ward

It consists of nine wards. It is certified as a "ka" (A) category municipality.[1]
