Friulians or Furlans are a linguistic minority living in Italy and elsewhere. About 300,000 of them live in the provinces of Udine and Pordenone and in parts of Gorizia and Venice. Their language, Friulan, is the second largest recognised minority language in Italy after the Sardinian one.
