Folk Radio UK
Folk Radio UK is a UK-based independent Folk music webzine and Internet radio station which was founded in 2004.[1] It covers a wide range of folk music including Traditional and Contemporary folk music. Its founder and owner is Alex Gallacher[1][2] who is also the editor-in-chief. It is situated in Somerset.[3] They launched a new radio channel on Deezer which was launched as a specialist folk music channel in 2012.[4][5] They now run a regular weekly show on British online music streaming service Mixcloud and feature playlists on Spotify.
The Folk Radio UK website includes reviews of new album releases, interviews, folk music news, Folk Festival news and reviews as well as articles on Folk music.
