Felipe M. Medalla is a Filipino economist. He served as the 9th Socio-Economic Planning Secretary and Director-General of the National Economic and Development Authority under the presidency of Joseph Estrada. He is an incumbent member of the Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines), an entity in-charge of managing Philippine monetary policy.
Medalla served as dean of the University of the Philippines School of Economics. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
