Farm to Market Roads in Texas are owned and maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

FM 2809

Farm to Market Road 2809 (FM 2809) is located entirely within Culberson County in West Texas.

The southern terminus of FM 2809 is at FM 2185, approximately 10.7 miles northeast of Van Horn.^[2] The route travels north for approximately 4.9 miles before ending at Whitehead Rd in unincorporated Culberson County.^[1][3]

FM 2809 was established along its current routing in 1962.^[1]

RM 2810

Ranch to Market Road 2810 (RM 2810) is the paved, state-maintained portion of the Pinto Canyon Road between Ruidosa and Marfa in Presidio County. RM 2810 is maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) as part of the state's system of Farm and Ranch to Market Roads and comprises roughly three-fifths of the overall length of the route.

The southern terminus of RM 2810 is at a point 32.0 miles (51.5 km) southwest of Marfa along the Pinto Canyon Road where pavement and state maintenance begins in Cleveland Flat near Wild Horse Draw. The 32.0-mile (51.5 km), two-lane road proceeds to the northwest along the northern fringe of the Cuesta del Burro range of the Chinati Mountains. The road then emerges onto Ryan Flat approaching Marfa.^[5] In town, the road turns north along S. Hoover St. to its terminus at US 90.^[6]

RM 2810 had been designated in 1962 as a 10.0-mile (16.1 km) route extending southwest from US 90 in Marfa. The route was extended an additional 8.0 miles (12.9 km) the following year, and 14.0 miles (22.5 km) further to its present length in 1965.^[4]

FM 2818

Farm to Market Road 2818 (FM 2818), also known as Harvey Mitchell Parkway, runs from SH 6 in College Station, northwestward to SH 6 and US 190 in Bryan. This route is a western bypass of the cities of College Station and Bryan. It runs though the Texas A&M University campus and next to the George Bush Presidential Library and Easterwood Airport.

FM 2818 was designated in 1963 from SH 21 southwest to FM 2513 (now Turkey Creek Rd., as the route was turned over to city of Bryan in 1989). In 1965, it was extended south to SH 6, replacing the section of FM 2513 from FM 2818 and Turkey Creek Road to FM 60 and Spur 135 from FM 60 south to the center of the Texas A&M airport. In 1967, it was extended north to SH 6. In 1988, it was extended from former SH 6 (former Loop 507, now Business SH 6) to new SH 6. In 1995, it became an urban road.

FM 2847

Farm to Market Road 2847 (FM 2847) is located in Clay County.

FM 2847 is a shoulderless two-lane route for its entire length. State maintenance of the roadway begins south of an intersection with FM 2606, which provides access westward to Lake Arrowhead. The route continues northward and then eastward through unincorporated Clay County before ending at a junction with SH 148 south of the Henrietta city limits.^[9]

FM 2847 was designated in 1963. The routing has remained unchanged. The junction with FM 2606 was designated in 1968, when that route was added to the state highway system.^[10]

FM 2849

Farm to Market Road 2849 (FM 2849) is located in Montague County.^[11]

The pavement and state maintenance of FM 2849 begin at an intersection with Gray Road, near the defunct community of Red River Station.^[12] It travels to the east as a shoulderless two-lane roadway before ending near the Prairie Valley School at FM 103, which provides access to Spanish Fort and Nocona.^[11]

FM 2849 was designated on the state highway system in 1963. Its routing has remained unchanged.^[11]

RM 2886

Ranch to Market Road 2886 (RM 2886) is located in Pecos and Terrell counties.

The southern terminus of RM 2886 is in Terrell County at RM 2400. The route travels north into Pecos County before ending at exit 298 on I-10, approximately 4.0 miles east of Bakersfield.^{[13][14][15][16]}

RM 2886 was established in 1963 with its current northern terminus (though at the time, this was signed as US 290) and southward 7.8 miles. In 1967, this route was extended south another 10.4 miles, and in 1968, it was extended another 3.0 miles south to an intersection with Harral Rd. It was extended southward again in 1973, 1982, 1983, and 1987, reaching its current southern terminus in 1992.^[13]

FM 2890

Farm to Market Road 2890 (FM 2890) is located in the western and central portions of Delta County. The highway is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) in length, and travels through mainly rural areas between the communities of West Delta and Klondike.

FM 2890 begins at an at-grade intersection with State Highway 24 (SH 24) in the small unincorporated community of West Delta. The highway intersects several small roads and passes many houses, as it exits West Delta. The road continues eastward, passing through rural areas and continuing past several houses and small roads. The roadway proceeds eastward, bending slightly southward and passing a small, unnamed cemetery. As it bends northeast, the highway passes a few small houses before entering the community of Klondike, where it terminates at an intersection with FM 1528.^[18][19]

In 2011, the highest traveled point along FM 2890 was at the intersection with FM 1528, with a count of 310 vehicles. The lowest traveled point was at an intersection with SH 24, with a count of 260 vehicles.^[20] The highest count was a slight increase from the previous year, when the measure was 290 vehicles.^[21]

The first road appeared in the location of FM 2890 between the years of 1936 and 1940. This road followed the approximate route of FM 2890, and had a graded and drained gravel surface. The road was approximately 1.6 miles (2.6 km) in length.^[22][23] By 1951, a small bridge had been constructed over a creek in Klondike, and the highway had been slightly straightened, at a length of 1.5 miles (2.4 km).^[24] By 1956 the road's surface had been improved to crushed stone.^[25] By 1964, the highway's surface had been improved to bituminous, a combination of crushed rock and asphalt. The route had also been minorly straightened.^[26] On May 6, 1964, FM 2890 was designated by Texas Transportation Commission along its present route. The designation was approved by the TxDOT's Administration Circle on June 1, 1964.^[17] The entire length of the highway was paved by 1987.^[27]

FM 2895

Farm to Market 2895 (FM 2895) is located in western Webb County.^[28]

FM 2895 begins at SH 359 in the unincorporated community of Aguilares.^[29] It runs northward through rural areas of Webb County before ending at US 59 (Future I-69W).^[30] The route has no major intersections between its termini and is two-laned for its entire length.

FM 2895 was designated in 1964, and it has always ended at SH 359 in Aguilares. Its original northern terminus was at a point approximately 7.0 miles (11.3 km) north of Aguilares. By 1966, it was extended to a total length of 13.1 miles (21.1 km). The route reached its current length in 1967 when it was extended to US 59.^[28]
