Farm to Market Road 2519 (FM 2519) is a 1.693-mile (2.725 km) farm to market road in Brownsville, Texas.[1]
Route description
FM 2519 begins at SH 4 in central Brownsville. It travels to the south and east along Billy Mitchell Boulevard before state maintenance ends at the entrance to Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport.[1][2]
History
FM 2519 was originally designated in 1957 along its current route.[1] In 1995, the official designation was changed to Urban Road 2519 (UR 2519); however, as with other urban roads, TxDOT still signs the route using the standard Farm Road marker.[3]
