Faisal Qureshi (born August 16, 1962) also known as FQ is a Pakistani anchor, businessman, entrepreneur, electrical engineer and social activist from Karachi.[1]
Early life and career
Faisal Qureshi was born on 16 August 1964 in Karachi. He attended Habib Public School and Dayaram Jethamal Science College in Karachi. He obtained a B.S. Degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.[2] Faisal started his career as an anchor in 2006 by hosting the show "Loose Ends" on Business Plus. He hosted "Loose Ends" from May 19, 2006 to March 31, 2007. He has also hosted the morning show "Breakfast at Dawn" on Dawn News, talk show "Ankahi" on Samaa TV and "Bang Dara" on News One.[3] Additionally, Faisal is chief executive officer of Kolachi Advanced Technologies and founder chairperson of Mensa Pakistan and P@SHA.[2][4]
