Exmouth Town F. C. are a football club from Exmouth, Devon, England. The club is nicknamed "The Town".[1] They currently play in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division.
History
The club was formed in 1933, and played their first forty years of existence in local football, primarily in the Devon and Exeter Football League.[2] During this period the club made its debut in the FA Cup when they met St Blazey in the Extra Preliminary Qualifying round in the 1950–51 season.[3] In 1954 the club moved from their original home of the Maer Cricket Field, to their current home at Southern Road.[2]
They joined the Western Football League in 1973.[4] At the end of their second season in the Western league the club finished bottom of the league and were relegated to the newly formed Division one for the 1976–77 season.[4] Six seasons later the club achieved promotion back to the Premier Division when they finished as Runners up in the 1981–82 season.[3] Two seasons later they won the league title and repeated this success in the 1985–86 campaign.[5] In between their two league successes the club made it to the FA Vase semi-finals, where they missed out on a trip to Wembley Stadium, to Fleetwood Town 4–3 on aggregate.[6]
The club remained in the Western Premier Division until the 1993–94 season, when finishing second from bottom were relegated to Division one.[7] The club gained promotion back to the premier division in the 2002–03 competition, when they finished as Runners up behind Torrington.[8]
In January 2006 the club withdrew from the Premier Division and league due to financial problems.[9] In August 2006 the club was reformed as Exmouth Town (2006) AFC and took over the reserve side's position in the Devon & Exeter League.[2]
The club in 2007 became one of the founder members of the South West Peninsula league, joining Division One East.[10]
The 2012-13 season saw the club win Division One East of the South West Peninsula league and achieve a double that season by winning the Devon Premier Cup.[11]

Exmouth Town play their home games at King George V Ground, Southern Road, Exmouth, Devon, EX8 3EE.
The club have played at the Southern Road ground, also known as the King George V ground, since 1964.[6] Previous grounds include Maer Cricket Field and Raleigh Park.[2]
