Exhibition Centre Liverpool
Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a state-of-the-art, 8,100m2 purpose-built exhibition centre and is part of The ACC Liverpool Group’s family of world class venues along with interconnected sister venues BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena. In March 2011 plans were announced to build a new waterfront exhibition and events complex as an extension to The ACC Liverpool Group’s existing offer. At an investment of £40m, the project was set to position Liverpool in the premier league of convention and exhibition cities in the UK.
In October 2012, world renowned construction services company ISG, known for its prestigious work on the London 2012 Velodrome, was granted the contract to deliver the construction of the project. The principle architects, Denton Corker Marshall, was appointed for its distinct style and flawless reputation, with a portfolio of work including the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
In April 2013, Pullman was announced as the upscale four star luxury hotel brand that would be at the heart of the new venue. At that time, Pullman had hotels all over the world, including all the major European cities, but only one in the UK. The Pullman brand is owned by international hotel company Accor. While Pullman was selected as the hotel brand, Branded Hotel Management (BHM) was appointed as the preferred operator for the 216 room 'headquarters' hotel.
Work began on Exhibition Centre Liverpool in January 2014 and Exhibition Centre Liverpool opened in September 2015. Pullman Liverpool opened in February 2016.
Events
A variety of events have taken place in Exhibition Centre Liverpool including Wound Expo, The Allergy and Free From Show, The Liverpool Wedding Show, MCM Comic Con and RenewableUK.
The International Festival for Business attracted more than 26,000 delegates from all over the world during the three week event held throughout June 2016 at the waterfront venue. More than 80 events took place with multi-million pound business deals carried out in the exhibition halls. Highlights included the official opening of Exhibition Centre Liverpool and its adjoining hotel, Pullman Liverpool, by Her Majesty the Queen and the announcement that BBC Worldwide will return for a further three years.
The Venue
Exhibition Centre Liverpool is the UK’s newest venue for trade and consumer exhibitions, large scale conferences, banquets, standing concerts and sporting events. Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a state of the art 8,100m² purpose-built flexible and accessible event space that is sub-divisible into three halls, which can be used separately or in combination. In addition to the exhibition halls, Exhibition Centre Liverpool also boasts multiple meeting rooms for meetings of all shapes and sizes, external event spaces, a riverside balcony, open plan terrace and lounge areas.
The venue is integrated to the 4* 216-room Pullman Liverpool hotel and interconnected to ACC Liverpool’s conference facilities via a pedestrian link bridge.
Event spaces
Exhibition Halls – The three exhibition halls can be used together or in isolation depending on the event. Each hall is 2,700m² in size. Hall C has an increased ceiling height of 18m for concerts or large stage rigging events.
Meeting Rooms – Eight meeting rooms are situated on the upper level of the exhibition centre and can be used in isolation or the walls between the meeting rooms can be removed to create a larger space. The walls out onto the terrace can also be removed to create 400m² of open space.

Air- Liverpool John Lennon airport is a short 20 minute drive from the venue with Manchester airport approximately 45 minutes away by car.
Road – The UK motorway network brings you to within 15 minutes of the city centre
Rail – Liverpool Lime Street Station is a short taxi ride from Exhibition Centre Liverpool and is the terminus for 45 minute train journeys from Manchester, 90 minutes from Birmingham and just over two hours for direct services to London. The nearest underground station is James Street, less than a 10 minute walk away.
Parking: The Liverpool Waterfront car park is a covered, secure multi-storey on-site car park with 1,600 spaces.
