Everglade Raid is the 86th animated cartoon short subject in the Woody Woodpecker series. Released theatrically on August 11, 1958, the film was produced by Walter Lantz Productions and distributed by Universal International.
Plot
Woody finds out there is money to be made by turning alligators into suitcases. He wastes no time heading down to the Everglades to pursue his fortune. He then meets Al I. Gator (Daws Butler) who has his own plans for cooking the woodpecker.
Notes
The character Al I. Gator was an early incarnation of the character that would be known later as Gabby Gator.
