Eurekahedge is a subsidiary of Mizuho Bank, the second-largest financial services group in Japan.
History
Founded in 2001, Eurekahedge was established by financial professionals for the hedge fund and investment community. Headquartered in Singapore, with offices in New York and Cebu, the company has over 50 employees based worldwide.
In March 2011, Eurekahedge became a subsidiary of Mizuho Bank after the latter acquired a 95% stake in the company.[2]
Services
Eurekahedge specialises in hedge fund research and analysis presented in databases and indices.
In addition, the company’s other business functions include hedge fund publications, due diligence services, investor services and an analytical platform service. The breakdown of Eurekahedge’s clients include family offices, endowments and trusts, pension funds, funds of hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, private banks, advisors and other service providers.[3]
