Emmanuel Matadi born 15 April 1991 in Monrovia, Liberia . Liberian athlete competing in sprinting events.[2] He won 2015 division 2 NCAA national titles in the 100m and 200m at Minnesota State, Mankato. Matadi also won the bronze medal in the 200 metres at the 2016 African Championships.

He currently holds national records in the 60, 100 and 200 metres.

He competed for Liberia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 100m and 200m events. He placed 6th with a time of 10.31 during his heat in the first round of the 100m and did not qualify for the semifinals.[3] He placed 5th with a time 20.49 during his heat in the first round of the 200m and did not qualify for the semifinals.[4] He was the flag bearer for Liberia in the Parade of Nations.[5]
