Biography
Larrazábal was born in Las Arenas, Vizcaya, Spain. At the age of 21 he was already known as one of the best forwards of the Spanish football. When he came to Real Madrid he had the luck to be contemporary with players like Zamora, Ciriaco, Quincoces, the Regueiros, Lazcano, Lecue, Sañudo, Leoncito, Esparza, who formed one of the best teams ever in the Real Madrid history and Spanish football as well.
With this team on his side, Emilin succeeded to win the Spanish Championship twice. Having the bad luck to be contemporary with one of the best forwards ever, Guillermo Gorostiza, he was selected to play for the Spanish national football team in two occasions. The first match at the national side was held in Madrid, against Austria, and the second one was played against Germans, in Germany. Both matches were lost by Spain. Gorostiza played for the national side 19 times.
He played for Real Madrid for three years between 1933 and 1936, scoring 21 goals in 56 official matches.[2]
