EMAS is a Malay-language retro channel from the Media Prima Berhad publication archives, which includes TV3, ntv7, 8TV, and TV9. This channel started on 1 June 2011 for the pay-TV provider HyppTV, and later on ABNxcess.
Sister channels, EMAS Style and EMAS Plus, were added on ABNxcess starting in July 2013. EMAS Style features Malay lifestyle programming while EMAS Plus features Malay dramas and telemovies.
This channel, however, has stopped its transmission on HyppTV on 1 August 2014 due to the low popularity of this channel. Meanwhile, EMAS and EMAS Plus on ABNxcess have also been removed from the channel line-up as of July 2014.
