El Shorouk (Egyptian Arabic: الشروق‎‎  pronounced [eʃʃʊˈɾuːʔ]) is a city located at the northeast of Cairo and at the north of New Cairo, in the province of Cairo, in Egypt, which is part of Greater Cairo.
