Edmundo Stanfield (c.1900-1960) was an English rugby union footballer, he played for Club Atlético San Isidro and the Argentina national rugby union team.[1]

Career

Stanfield played at fly-half for the CASI, team where he had started his career in the late 1910s.[2] In the Club Atlético San Isidro, he won several championships organized by the URBA.[3]

Stanfield was a player and Coach of Los Pumas. He played his first test match against Springboks, on July 16, 1932.[4] That same year Stanfield was appointed as Coach of the national team.[5]
