Eddie Cumana is a Music Producer and DJ from New York City of Cuban-American descent.[1] He is one half of the production duo Dynamix. He has releases on Kult Records,[2] Intec Records,[3] Nervous Records,[4] King Street Sounds, EON5, Bush Records, Nite Grooves,[5] Choice Records, Star 69 Records.[6] In 2009 he founded his own imprint EON5 where they release a wide range of Techno and House.
In 2006 he recorded, produced and arranged the vocals of Amuka "I Want More" (Cling On To Me)[7] (with music production by Offer Nissim) which achieved the number #1 position on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart on May 20th of 2006.[8]
The following year he remixed Maya Azucena "Make It Happen"[9] which achieved the number #3 position on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart on May 5th of 2007.[10]
In 2009 he produced and co-wrote Lula featuring Papa Joe "Last Night A Dj Saved My Life" (While A DJ Gave Me Trouble)[11] which achieved the number #6 position on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart on March 7th of 2009.[12] It was directly followed by the single Eddie Amador vs Eddie Cumana featuring Alan T & Papa Joe entitled "Now"[13] later that year.
In 2012 he released the single Eddie Cumana featuring Lula "Hours Of Dancing".[14] In 2015 Mixmag licensed the tune for their 30th anniversary compilation CD mixed by Fatboy Slim.[15]
