Eco-Bat Technologies is the largest producer of lead (metal) in the world, and is based in the East Midlands of the United Kingdom.
History
The company was founded on 23 February 1994.
Structure
The headquarters are based off the B5057 near Darley Bridge (Darley Dale), off the A6 north of Matlock in mid Derbyshire. It is owned by Quexco of Texas.
The UK site in Derbyshire is the site of HJ Enthovens, the largest secondary lead smelter in Europe. Secondary lead smelting is that from lead acetate batteries.
