Eastern League Manager of the Year Award

The Eastern League Manager of the Year Award is an annual award given to the best manager in minor league baseball's Eastern League. In 1962, Frank Lucchesi won the first ever Eastern League Manager of the Award. The only managers with more than one award are Bill Dancy, Brad Komminsk, Matt Walbeck, and Dusty Wathan, each with two wins. Wathan won the award in consecutive years (2015 and 2016).

Eight managers from the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball (MLB) organization have won the award, more than any other, followed by the New York Yankees organization (7); the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations (5); the Montreal Expos organization (4); the Baltimore Orioles, New York Mets, and Toronto Blue Jays organizations (3); the Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, San Francisco Giants, and Seattle Mariners organizations (2); and the Chicago White Sox, Florida Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, and Oakland Athletics organizations (1).
