E! is an Asian television channel, owned by NBCUniversal. It features entertainment-related programming, reality television and Hollywood gossip and news.[1]
History
E! in Asia was launched in 2010.
In 2014, the channel launched its first local Filipino reality TV program It Takes Gutz to Be A Gutierrez, starring the Gutierrez family, which began airing on June 1.[2][3] A second season began airing on October 5 of the same year,[4] as well as launching a Malaysian miniseries Facing Up to Fazura (starring Nur Fazura Sharifuddin) began in mid-December.[5]
In addition, E! also produces its E! News Asia Specials which focus on the success stories of Asian celebrities such as Aaron Aziz, Anne Curtis, Jay Park, and Lisa Surihani.
