Duetting

To duet is the verb derived from the noun duet, and means to perform a duet,[1] a musical composition for two voices or two performers.

The verb and its participle duetting are often used to describe animal communication, where the male and the female of a species, especially birds, communicate by singing. This may be used as a warning, a mating call or for any other purpose.
