Donagh Maher (born 28 July 1988) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Burgess and has been a member of the Tipperary senior inter-county hurling team since 2012. He is the younger brother of Shane Maher who has also played senior hurling for Tipperary.
Career
On 26 February 2012, Maher made his senior Tipperary debut against Kilkenny in the 2012 National Hurling League, starting at right corner back in a 2-17 to 0-15 defeat.[1] On 27 May 2012, he made his Championship debut, starting at right corner back in a 2-20 to 1-19 victory against Limerick at Semple Stadium.[2]
On 4 September 2016, Maher came on as a second half substitute and won his first All-Ireland Senior hurling title when Tipperary defeated Kilkenny in the final by 2-29 to 2-20.[3][4]
