Dixons Travel is a leading airport technology retailer, with stores across the UK and Ireland. It is a division of Dixons Retail, a subsidiary of Dixons Carphone.
It was initially established as Dixons Tax Free in 2008 to relaunch the Dixons brand in airport locations as the Dixons name was no longer in use on the High Street following its change the Currys.digital. It changed to Dixons Travel in 2009.
The company opened a branch in Rome in 2013 but this was closed in 2015. A branch in Brussels trades under the Knowhow brand.[1]
