Dieter Schmalstieg

Dieter Schmalstieg is an Austrian computer scientist, full professor, and head of the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision at Graz University of Technology. In 1993 he received a master of science diploma and by 1997 became doctor of technology. Currently he has over 300 peer-reviewed works which were cited over 12,000 times which brought him an h-index of 53.[1]

He is the author of the book "Augmented Reality - Principles and Practice" (with Tobias Höllerer, ISBN 978-0321883575), published by Addison-Wesley in 2016 .[2]
