Dhampur is a city and a municipal board in Bijnor district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is located at 29°18′N 78°30′E / 29.30°N 78.50°E / 29.30; 78.50, and lies in Northern India.

History

In 1805, Dhampur was sacked by Pindaris.[1]
