Delma Byron, born Sara Delma Bynum in Weakley County, Tennessee, was a dancer and actress, born in 1913 and died in 2006. She also acted under the name Brook Byron. It was under this name that she portrayed Sally Cato MacDougall in Auntie Mame.
Career
She ran away from home to join a revue as a dancer. She had no professional experience but had studied dancing from the age of ten. She toured the southern states then later took a job modeling clothes. The became an actress and toured. She was discovered by 20th Century Fox and given a chance in films.
