Debak is a small town and a sub-district in the Betong division of Sarawak, Malaysia.[1][2] It lies approximately 120 kilometres (75 mi) east of the state capital Kuching.
It is a small town which consists of a few bazaars. Most of Debak's population is made of Iban, Malays and a few Chinese living close to the bazaar. Debak is surrounded by Pusa, Spaoh and Maludam.
History
It is not know when the Debak town was established.[3] In early 1980s a fire razed down the main bazaar and the present bazaar was built in 1989.[3]
