David Robinson (reporter)

David "Robbo" Robinson (born May 11, 1983) is an Australian television personality, producer and reporter who is best known for reporting on the morning television show Studio 10.[1]

Early life

Robinson was born in Ipswich, Queensland. He graduated from Rosewood State High School in 2000 and moved to Darwin, Northern Territory in January 2002. Later, Robinson moved to Sydney, New South Wales.

Career

Robinson started on the Seven Network’s Sunrise program presenting movie reviews and taking on various tasks as a reporter.[1] He went on to work on Weekend Sunrise and TV Turns 50 before joining Network Ten.[1] While working for the critically acclaimed Children's TV Unit he turned his hand to producing Totally Wild, Toasted TV, Scope and narrated various Network Ten documentaries.[1]

Robinson joined Studio 10 as a producer, but quickly made his way on air as a favourite reporter. Robinson currently presents The $5 Quiz segment every Friday on the morning television program, which has become a regular segment due to popular demand.[1]
