David L. Turpin
Dr. David L. Turpin is an American Orthodontist who was the Editor-in Chief for The Angle Orthodontist from 1988 to 1999 and American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from 1999 to 2010.[1][2]
Life
He received his dental degree from University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1962 and received his Masters for Orthodontics from University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1966. He worked in Private practice for more than 37 years of his life along with being the clinical faculty at the Orthodontics Department at University of Washington. He was the Editor-in Chief for AJODO from 1999 to 2010 and also it's interim Editor in Chief from 2013-2014. Dr. Turpin currently serves on the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists and is also the Associate editor of WFO Gazette. In addition, he's also served as the past editor in chief for The Angle Orthodontist Journal. He is also a diplomate of the ABO and member of College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Turpin is married to Judith Clark Turpin and have three children together.
