Dave Gillespie was an Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton in the Victorian Football League. After being severely injured in World War I, he was repatriated to Australia. He later died of his wounds, and was buried in Coburg Cemetery. His twin brother was Carlton premiership player Doug Gillespie.
