Darrin C Huss[1] is the vocalist and lyricist of the Canadian dark synthpop band Psyche.[2]

His band has released 11 official albums, 3 EPs, and 5 compilations of their work to date.[3]

Together with Niels Hesse, and Marco Drewes, Darrin formed Lounge in 2001, and released a mini-album entitled "Everyday" on the label Novatune.[4] Later in 2006 the album was released with added tracks and mixes with "Elegance" as the title on digipak CD, and also digitally.[5]

In 2007 a solo EP entitled "Radio Melancholia" was released digitally, and as a CD.[6] One of the EP tracks "Destination Moon" created with Marcus Zelonka was released as a remix EP digitally.[7] In 2008 "Golden Days" with two updated versions of the song, and some rare Lounge tracks was released digitally by Psyche Enterprises.[8]

Style

Darrin Campbell Huss has performed around the world with his band Psyche becoming renowned for his vocal range and distinct timbre. He has been involved in various genres of electronically based music. An album of songs under the band name Lounge, entitled "Elegance" was released at the end of 2006. It features his vocals of emotional melancholy and relaxed moodscapes with romantic and thoughtful lyrics to chillout, and downtempo music. Darrin has also been a guest vocalist for several artists in the Electropop genre such as Icon Of Coil, Angels & Agony Fading Colours, and Brain Leisure and Marc Almond
