Darren Rhodes
Darren Rhodes (born 1971 or 1972)[1] is an American yoga teacher and author.
Rhodes has been teaching at the YogaOasis in Tucson, Arizona since 1999.[1] He wrote and published Yoga Resource Practice Manual book and eBook showcasing 400 yoga poses.[2][3]
He has been part of Anusara school of yoga, but left in 2012 to pursue running his own studio.[4] Part of his practice consists of raising awareness about the daily activities people do, which create patterns in the body. Darren Rhodes suffered from scoliosis in his teens and was able to materially improve his condition with his yoga practice.[5]
Yoga Journal named Darren Rhodes one of the "21 Talented Young Teachers Shaping the Future of Yoga" in 2008.[6]
