Daniel P. Franklin

Daniel Paul Franklin,(born, 1954) [1] an American political scientist is Associate Professor of political science at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Franklin was born in Mt. Vernon, New York and grew up in Austin, Texas. He received a BA in political science 1976 from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MA in 1981 from the University of Texas, Austin and a PHD, also from Texas, in 1984. He taught at Colgate University (1985-1990), and then was an APSA Congressional Fellow (1990–91). He then obtained his present position at Georgia State.
