Daffodil Records
For the Canadian record label of the same name that existed from 1971 to 1978, see Daffodil Records (Canadian Label).
Daffodil Records is a record company and label started in 1974[1] by jazz musician Blossom Dearie, after her disappointment in the lack of interest shown by existing labels in her particular style of jazz music.
After Blossom's death, Daffodil was continued by James Smith. Sheet music and compact discs are available. Some hard-to-find albums have been digitized.
