Cynicocrates is a genus of moth in the family Lecithoceridae. It contains the species Cynicocrates tachytoma, which is found in Taiwan.[1]
The wingspan is about 11 mm. The forewings are whitish-grey with blackish-grey markings. There are cloudy spots on the costa at one-fourth, the middle, and two-thirds and two rather large cloudy spots representing the discal stigmata. There is also a strongly excurved series of cloudy spots from the costa at three-fourths very near the termen to the tornus. The hindwings are grey.[2]
