Colin Gibson Cole (7 July 1916 – 22 July 1994) was an English cricketer. Cole was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born at Sittingbourne, Kent.
Cole made his first-class debut for Kent in the 1935 County Championship against Yorkshire. From 1935 to 1938, he represented the county in 27 first-class matches, the last of which came against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.[1] In his 27 first-class matches, Cole scored 228 runs at a batting average of 7.86, with a high score of 23*. An able fielder, Cole took 15 catches.[2] Cole played as a bowler and in this role he took 61 wickets at a batting average of 34.59, with 2 five wicket hauls and best figures of 6/62[3] against Middlesex in 1937.
He died at Borden, Kent on 22 July 1994.
