Coleophora orenburgella is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in the southern Ural Mountains and the Altai Mountains in Russia.
The wingspan is 15–18 mm. Adults have a white head and thorax, tinged with yellowish. The forewings are orange-yellow with four streaks and an elongate yellowish brown wedge. The inner costal fringes are whitish, while the outer ones are brown and the dorsal fringes brownish grey. The hindwings and fringes are brownish grey. The abdomen is shining pale grey, although it is more yellowish in females.[2] Adults have been recorded from May to mid-June.
Etymology
The species name refers to the Orenburg district, where the majority of the type specimens were collected.
