Chris Tsakis

Chris Tsakis (born 1962, Amityville, Long Island) is the co-host of a SiriusXM Satellite Radio program for truckers called Freewheelin'.

Tsakis (a.k.a. "Chris T") is a WFMU radio personality. He started working as a WFMU volunteer DJ during the 1980s when the station was located at Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey. In 1989 he launched a phone-in talk show titled Aerial View, which ran until 2005. In June 2010 Aerial View returned as a podcast and program on WFMU.

Tsakis later launched a blog and produced podcasts under the show title Communication Breakdown.

Freewheelin' can be heard on the Road Dog Trucking channel, SiriusXM 128. Tsakis previously worked as a broadcast engineer at NPR.

Tsakis currently hosts a Thursday and Friday show from 8pm until midnight on SiriusXM 60, Outlaw Country, entitled Outlaw Country with Chris T.[1]
