Choeradodis rhombicollis, common name Peruvian shield mantis,[1] is a species of praying mantis native to North America, Central America, and South America.
It is found in Belize, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guyana, Guatemala, Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and Surinam.[2][3]
It was formerly categorized as Choeradodis columbica (Beier 1931), as Choeradodis peruviana (Serville 1839), and as Mantis rhombicollis (Latreille 1833).[4]
