Charles Tucker (test pilot)

Charles Tucker (December 23, 1919 - April 26, 2010) was a test pilot employed by Northrop.[1][2] In conducting the initial flight test of the X-4 Bantam, he became the first person to perform a conventional runway take off using an X-Plane.[3]
